We have been vegan for 7 years and have a vegan food blog called veganmos.com– as in homos…haha. We have hundreds of recipes for people to check out.  Our cookbook is coming out next spring, which we are really excited about.  Our inspiration comes from so many things, and being vegan requires getting creative with your meals.  We focus on anything from family recipes to going out to eat and recreating dishes at home. Sometimes when I see people eating non-vegan meals, I will think, ‘Oh, you could leave the chicken off of that and use this, this, and this.’
There is a big vegan food scene here in NYC so we are pretty tapped into that for ideas and inspiration as well.   A regular grocery run for us is pretty much everything we have here today- broccoli, cauliflowers, papayas, melons, hummus, quinoa, lentils, and soy milk.”
