“We are all from Nepal, and we like to cook Nepalese and Indian food. Our recipes were passed down from our grandmother. In our kitchen there was never a lot of teaching, it was mostly learning by watching. In Tibetan and Nepalese cooking it was never about a specific measurements for recipes, it was always just a little bit of this and a little bit of that. We would judge from the look of it, and by the way it tasted to see if it was right. We were always in the kitchen helping and from there we learned how to make special Nepalese dishes. Our favorite dish to make is the Nepalese dumpling called Momo.”
