"I usually get my cooking inspiration from picking one ingredient and then Googling what to make with it, and then I just choose from there."

“I have some routine meals that I make each week. One is a fish dish, and I use the leftovers for lunches. Now that the weather has changed, soups are in the mix.  I’m thinking of making a cauliflower soup that I just saw on the NY Times Cooking app. I usually get my cooking inspiration from picking one ingredient and then googling what to make with it, and then I just choose from there. This happens to be a one stop shop for me today, but I usually go to a few places to get more specific items. Fleishers in Carroll Gardens is where I go to get fresh bone broth, and Mermaid’s Garden in Prospect Park is where I get my sustainably sourced fish.”
