“I like to watch other people, especially the chefs, to see what foods and vegetables they are buying. I come here twice a week before I head to the office, where I work in fashion. It helps me to feel a bit more connected with nature- a good way to start my day. Also, this lifestyle of supporting local farms is about being part of a community. Today I’m picking up some fresh arugula to have with parmesan and lemon on some pasta. I love coming here for fresh eggs, too. These ones from Red Hook taste so much better than the others.”
